Intermec CN3 Mobile Computer
Designed to meet the needs of workers performing mission-critical tasks in transportation, logistics and field service, the CN3 mobile computer delivers a powerful combination of communications technologies in a compact, rugged package. Built to survive the rigors of the road, the CN3 meets rugged, standards-based environmental specifications and provides features that meet the needs of mobile workers. The CN3’s 1.3 megapixel color camera provides a vital data validation tool, enabling workers to document proof-of-service or vehicle inspection. The CN3 has 128 MB RAM and is available with an ultra-slim extended battery that delivers easy-to-carry, all-day power. Intermec CN3e Mobile Computer
The Intermec CN3e, part of the CN3 mobile computer series, is a mid-sized mobile computer that features extensive communication options with an enlarged keypad to support key based data intensive in-field applications. In fact, the rugged CN3e is the first mid-sized handheld to offer a fully integrated, independent GPS option, as well as Wi-Fi, WWAN and Bluetooth in a single package, with an extended accessories line to support numerous application requirements. The CN3e and CN3 product share a common architecture with identical operating systems, radio options and shared accessories, providing customers a single hardware platform that supports multiple work environments and end-user requirements. The CN3e offers a fully integrated, independent GPS option, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and WWAN voice and data services (including 3G EV-DO or EDGE), allowing mobile workers to maximize their efficiency on the road. This is further enhanced by CN3e support for seamless voice and data communications, connections to peripheral devices, easy integration into company networks, and satellite-based navigation services that maximize fleet efficiency. The CN3e also features large, hard key caps, a 6-foot drop specification, and tolerance for a wide range of temperatures. The CN3e is ideally suited for direct store delivery, pick up & delivery, in-transit visibility and in-cab mobile applications. It gives customers mobile RFID read/write functionality through the optional snap-on RFID handle. The CN3e runs Windows Mobile supporting direct push wireless email for real-time connectivity with corporate networks. For in-premise use, the CN3e’s support for Cisco Compatible Extensions (CCX) ensures seamless interoperability in Cisco infrastructures. The CK31ex eliminates the need for multiple devices and substantially reduces total cost of ownership. With the CK31ex, users can scan 1D, 2D, composite and postal codes; capture images, signatures and documents; read at near and far distances; and successfully cope with damaged, poorly printed or partially obscured codes in variable lighting conditions. This combination of features and capabilities cannot be matched by any long range product on the market. With omni-directional scanning, laser pointer auto-determining illumination and centered decoding, the CK31ex makes it easy to scan at variable distances, lighting conditions and angles, improving worker productivity and accuracy. Intermec CK31ex

The CK61ex comes RFID-ready for easy connection to the Intermec IP30 RFID Reader Handle, enabling the unprecedented combination of RFID and near-far area imaging for advanced data collection. This combination of features and capabilities cannot be matched by any long range product currently on the market. The CK61ex is available with either Microsoft Windows® CE 5.0 (April 2008) or Windows Mobile® 5.0 operating system. Microsoft Windows CE provides significant flexibility to those customers who wish to control the user experience; Windows Mobile offers a standard platform which can easily be applied across the enterprise. Onboard non-volatile flash memory preserves applications and databases even if the batteries become depleted. The 192 MB capacity enables storage of large enterprise databases and applications. The CK61ex case is sealed against water and dust to IP64 standards. With a magnesium top cover and tough rubber bumpers at each corner, it can withstand repeated 6’ drops. It is also available in a non-incendive option (UL Division 2, Class I/II/III) to meet the needs of hazardous environments.
